Shanghai International Conference Centre was set up at the west side of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in the Lujiazui Central Financial District.
The project had a substantial F&B component consisting of: one multi-functional hall of 42000m2; 3,000 seats for Chinese /State Banquets. 4,000 seats for exhibition and conferencing; 2500m2 +11000m2 basement exhibition hall; 800 seat conference hall; 2×200 seat meeting rooms + 20x 100 seat meeting rooms; 259 key hotel.
The centre opened in September 1999 for the Fortune Global Forum. (For Cini Little Asia)
