Shangri-La Bar Al Jissah*
Muscat, Oman
The resort is nestled between the Hajar Mountains and the Gulf Of Oman, and consists of three hotels : 4 star Al Waha, 5 Star Al Bandar, and 6 Star Al Husn. Our primary involvement was with Waha and Bandar, the latter acting as F&B support to the Al Husn.
The design remit comprised of a total of 19 F&B outlets, with cuisines ranging from Omani, Asian, Phonecian, Morroccon, and Argentinian providing for an eclectic, yet flexible offer. Given the Hotels proximity and autonomy, a discreet compound was fused into the base of the Jebel / architecture, to accommodate other components to our remit of on-site laundry and refrigerated waste dock.
